Pursuing My Degree Online Education - 1519 Words

Introduction As the last week of the Adult Studies Introduction course draws to a close, I am left with a sense of accomplishment, confidence and, a wealth of new discoveries. This course has not only helped ease my fears about pursuing my degree online but has provided me with the support I needed to make the journey a success. According to the report prepared in 2007 for the U.S.Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Policy Development and Research by Jobs for the Future, it stated: Adult learners face significantly different challenges to completing an education program than students who enroll in college immediately after high school, depend on their parents financially, and work part time or less while in school. These obstacles pose challenges to both access to college credential programs and to persistence and success, particularly for students who work full time and attend college part time.
